This Privacy Policy explains how Ruftee (“Ruftee”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website and our waitlist. If you have questions, contact us at help@ruftee.co.
2. Information we collect
We only collect the information you choose to give us when joining the waitlist:
- Golfers: your email address, and optionally the city or region where you play.
- Golf course owners: your name, work email, course name, and optionally a phone number.
We may also collect basic, non-identifying technical information (such as your browser type and general analytics) to keep the site working and understand interest in the app.
3. How we use your information
- To notify you about early access and the launch of Ruftee.
- To understand demand and decide where to launch first.
- For course owners, to follow up about getting their course onto Ruftee.
We will not use your details for unrelated marketing, and we will only email you about Ruftee.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run the waitlist and send email (for example, an email or form provider), strictly to provide these services on our behalf.
5. Data retention
We keep your waitlist information until launch and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us at help@ruftee.co and we’ll take care of it.
7. Cookies
This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and, where applicable, basic analytics. We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Children
Ruftee is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product develops. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
